Flexphone has been delivering mobile phones via salary sacrifice and flexible benefit schemes for over 4 years. Founded in August 2003 with tax partners BDO Stoy Hayward, Flexphone was the first to market in the UK with tax efficient mobile phones for employees.

Having developed and launched the product, Flexphone has continued to innovate the service and build its customer base, launching a prepay based scheme in 2004, a full pay monthly scheme in 2005 and a full Vodafone service provider solution in 2006 which allowed us to offer more competitive products and tariffs as well as improved service levels. In 2007 we won two awards; our in-house developed systems won 'Best Billing Implementation' at the World Billing Awards and our Mobile Salary Saver service won 'Specialist Voluntary Benefits Provider of the Year'.

In May 2007 Flexphone was acquired by Vodafone UK and continues to operate as a separate subsidiary specialist benefits provider.

Led by its co-founder, Russell Horton MD, and supported by its strong integration with Vodafone, Flexphone continues to innovate the Mobile Salary Saver product to meet the needs of its customers and ensure it remains a high value benefit for employees in the dynamic mobile environment.
